U.S. Goodman Plaza is a 170-unit high rise apartment complex. All units are reserved for elderly residents. To qualify residents must be age 62 or older. The complex offers spacious efficiency, one and two bedroom apartments. All apartments are cable-ready and rent is income-based with all utilitites paid. The apartments are equipped with emergency pull cords provided to ensure the safety of residents. A 24-hour security system, on-site laundry facility, gazebo with outdoor grills and community center for planned activities are located on the property.
U.S. Goodman Plaza Community Center hosts a variety of activities for its residents. Birthday parties and holiday celebrations are just a few of the activities enjoyed by the residents. Church services are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. each month. Transportation is provided through community resources to grocery stores and medical appointments daily. U. S. Goodman Plaza is conveniently located near Sportran Bus routes, hospitals, banks, downtown and near I-20.
Applications are taken at U.S. Goodman Plaza on Wednesday and Thursday only from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon and 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. There is usually a 2 to 4 month waiting period for an apartment to become available.
